Great Engines for
Serious 5.8L Performance
These 392ci crate engines feature a new 2-bolt main Sportsman long block built with quality components: forged crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods; front T-sump or rear sump oil pan; pickup; oil pump; roller rocker arms; water pumps; timing chain cover; valve covers; damper; and steel billet flywheel.
The rear sump oil pan fits most Fox bodies. A standard rotation water pump is installed on the engine; a reverse rotation pump is also included but not installed. The timing chain cover works with most regular rotation water pumps. The valve covers should fit most Mustang and other non-EFI applications. The damper may require a spacer for pulley alignment. The flywheel should work on most 157-tooth manual transmissions (for other transmissions, use 28 oz flywheel).
Depending on the application, modification and/or different parts to
replace these may be required for proper installation.SPECIFICATIONS
